A few weekends ago it was a member of my family’s birthday therefore as a treat we travelled out and visited the Lincolnshire Wildlife Park. Not having visited the park since its former days as the Parrot Zoo I was instantly impressed with the expansion and development which has taken place since my visit years ago. The wildlife park is certainly developing well and becoming a fantastic place to visit just outside Skegness. At the rate, it is growing I’m sure I’ll be visiting again soon to see the new attractions such as the recently opened Bengal Gardens (A state of the art enclosure and home for Bengal Tigers).
To mark the special day my family member was treated to one of the zoos experiences, the Lemur experience. Which I was luckily enough to be treated to joining them on the experience. We went into the Lemur enclosure and got up close and personal with them while learning about and feeding them. I decided to use the fantastic opportunity to get some unique up-close photos of the lemurs without the normal obstructions of angles and fences. Therefore, while my family where busy feeding the Lemurs I was busy snapping around getting as many photos as possible, I quickly lost count of how many I had taken.
Below are a few photo highlights from my day featuring not only the Lemurs but also some of the parks other residents.
I would like to thank the Lincolnshire Wildlife Park for providing such a fantastic day out and birthday experience for my family. We certainly will be back again soon!
